The Downtown Albuquerque Farmers Market is a one-of-a-kind farmers market. With a mission to support local agriculture and small businesses, the Downtown Growers’ Market sets up shop in historic Robinson Park every Saturday morning from April through November. The market opens at 8 am, so be sure to arrive early in order to get the freshest bread and other baked goods you’ve ever eaten.
In these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list at a later date.
The Downtown Farmers Market was established in 1996 and features over 70 new Mexican farmers and over 200 local vendors each year!
While we absolutely love the fresh vegetables and farm produce you can find here when browsing the stalls, you can’t miss some of the baked goods offered by New Mexico’s small businesses.
Bakeries like Fat City Eats, Treats & Sweets serve savory danishes, cookies and other New Mexico-inspired sweets, while Ferm Brinery & Bakehouse offers some of the best sourdough breads you’ll ever have.
Some of our other favorite bakeries are Sugabom, Ihatov Bakery and Las Golondrinas Pie Company, where you can choose from the best sweet and savory pies.
Nothing like getting up early in the morning to get your fresh bread and pastries. And with desserts like these, you can’t forget to grab one for later in the day.
Of course, if you’re trying to supplement your shopping with fresh, locally grown vegetables, there’s no better place to do it than the downtown Farmers’ Market.
You can visit the Downtown Farmers Market Official Site to see a full list of vendors and learn more about the market, and after your visit be sure to let us know which vendor was your favorite!
